Interesting

Two down three to go. Had a good start in the sprint and had a little luck with the start seed ending up finishing in 9th. Not podium but a good start to the games. Today's pursuit race had some interesting things happen.....like not starting in the right position? I started the race not knowing that I started in JP's start time after he started early too and came into the range shooting on point 7 wearing bib 9 and no I did not pass anyone. So I just figured someone must have been sick. Cleaned two stages went out on the third loop to get passed by Bjorn F and that's when I knew something was wrong with the start. Ended up missing two targets in each stage after that finishing in 24th with my time added on in the end. Hey that's just racing gotta learn from mistakes I make OR others like today and move forward. I'm already focused on the recovery phase now and I'm looking forward to race the 20k on thursday. Sorry no pictures I've been busy. Promise I will post something soon.

It was fun watching this race. I didn't know much about it but got really excited when I saw an American was in 9th place. I'm pretty sure we've never been that successful. You made us proud!!!

Jeremy, I am very excited and proud to find that you, my 6th grade student in Anchorage, are first of all in the Olympics, and secondly have done so well for our country. Congratulations! When I was searching the web for Olympics news and saw your name and that you were from Anchorage, I knew you had to be my former student. When I looked at your pictures I knew immediately. Although obviously older, you look just as you did in 6th grade. What a thrill to rediscover you! You have a lot to be proud of - congratulations again!!
